Adelyn's Last Day(s) of Mother's Day Out

Adelyn went to our Church for MDO two days per week this year.  For the most part, she really loved it.   The first couple weeks were of course a bit tough at drop off and the last couple seemed to be as well.  But she loved to talk about "my teachers" and "my classroom".   She even started mentioning a couple of her friend's names as the year was coming to an end.   About halfway through the year, all of her teachers started commenting about how she was really starting to come out of her shell and they actually heard her speak more than a word or two.  :)

Happy Easter!

There's no sleeping in for this crew. :)

Easter Egg Hunt at the Hawthorne's after Church

Balloon art!  It was a big hit.   Katelyn tried to recreate hers several times after it came undone.
The big kids were a little over the bunny this year...and Adelyn wouldn't get anywhere near him.
...as in she stayed as far away as possible.
Hunting for eggs in the backyard that they bunny left for them.   The bunny left a note that each kid was to only hunt for eggs of a certain color.

Adelyn's 3rd Birthday Celebration

Mamaw & GrandBob came over to help celebrate Adelyn turning 3. :) We enjoyed some yummy Pucchini's pizza and then some Minnie Mouse cake and ice cream. Adelyn loved opening all of her presents and especially liked Katelyn's early birthday present, a bright pink tutu for dance class. Luckily, Mamaw was able to get her her very own light pink one.
